Dr. Aditi Ajay Shende, MD, DNB, is a dual board-certified dermatologist practicing in India.
Dr. Shende is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Symbiosis Medical College for Women and Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Center, Pune (Maharashtra) where she also sees patients.
She has completed her MBBS from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences. After that, she completed her residency in dermatology at Seth G S Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. During her residency, she received extensive training in clinical dermatology, dermatopathology, and dermatosurgery.
She has extensive experience in medical education and has participated and conducted many quizes.
She currently works at a private dermatology clinic where she conducts in-person consultations.
She is a life member of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists.
She has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and is also a reviewer at a scientific journal: Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprology. She has presented in multiple state and national conferences.
Her research interests include acne vulgaris, dermoscopy, dermatopathology, trichology, and psoriasis.
