If the doctor is not comfortable treating you via a photo-based consultation you will be called for a physical examination.

The response time for a photo-based virtual consultation can vary depending on the complexity of the case and the availability of the healthcare provider.rnrnTypically, you can expect a response within 24-72 hours during weekdays.rnrnVirtual consultations should not be requested for emergencies or urgent medical conditions, as real-time interaction and examination are necessary in such cases. Your healthcare provider will prescribe a medication electronically and you will be able to pick it up at the pharmacy you have selected in the Miiskin app.rnrnVirtual consultations may not be suitable for all skin conditions and not all medications can be prescribed during a photo-based consultation, for example, isotretinoin (Accutane) cannot be prescribed virtually.

It is currently not possible to request a consultation for a person under 18 through the Miiskin app as this requires a specialized consent. This feature is expected to come in late 2023.
